Well Look what’s new

So 3rd Roast successful and on sale,

Formally updated the logo to include both Kuro and Shiro,

Looking at more options on things to create from coffee to surprises,

Updated the website

Improving illustrations

and post-poning animating

Lots to do and lots to cover.

I am excited by all of this but realize scheduling may be the best to treat this as a more consistent affair. I did not animate, or illustrate prior to starting Kuro Neko, and with each pen-stroke I learn a bit more. My main tools have been Affinity and Krita but I may have to start using DaVinci too, for the longer animations I have planned. Initially they were meant to focus on education and some still will, but there are other animations and drawings I want to do for fun. Silly ones, parodies/refrences and even exploring the bigger coffee process and culture as whole. (I still need to make a brewing video for you all!)

This will all come soon hopefully as I get more comfortable with the process and workflow but there is almost always something to continue to learn and also try to remember.

All the small things add up so fast but I appreciate you taking the time to read this, hopefully enjoy some of the coffee and maybe even muse about what’s to come.

Shoot me a message, always happy to hear, talk, and learn from others!

From Kuro and Shiro, Thanks for reading and look forward to what’s to come!

Sincerely,

Phillip!
